Noteworthy points:
1) The Significant Seven humanoid-cylon models lack the ability to mate among themselves, however they are inherently able to successfully mate and procreate with humans. This can not be a coincidence. This seems to indicate that they were specifically engineered for this purpose. That their purpose all along has been to create a hybrid-race with humans. Or to provide an opportunity for an almost-extinct human race to be reborn.
2) The Significant Seven, seem unaware of this destiny of theirs. They also are seemingly unable to engineer themselves to be able to mate with each other, indicating that they were designed by somebody (or something) else. Who are their designers? Is it the Final Five, the Last One of the Final Five, the Cylon God or something else?
3) My guess is that the 13th tribe were actually machines(or humanoid machines) created by the 12 tribes on Kobol. They were created to serve the 12 tribes, but they rebelled and were driven off. They left for Earth. This rings true with the theme of "All this has happened before".
4) The Final Five may have been the Five Priests of the 13th tribe who worshipped the "One True God" / "Jealous God". Again "All this has happened before".
5) The members of the 13th tribe on Earth had differences on how to handle Kobol. While some wanted to destroy Kobol, others wanted a way to move forward together. Same theme again.
6) Those that wanted to destroy Kobol came back to destroy it ("Jealous God"). The Final Five or possibly four of the Final Five took it upon themselves to prevent the extinction of humanity. They see themselves as the protectors of humanity. They were probably instrumental in the escape of the 12 tribes from Kobol.
7) When history repeated itself and sentient machines were created again, the Final Five (or four of the Final Five) played their part in the ensuring the survival of humanity in the Cylon wars(Col.Tigh), resistance on Caprica (Anders), resistance on new Caprica (all of them) and so on.
8) Big question: Who created and programmed the humanoid cylons? If it were the Final Five, what was the purpose?
Maybe the Final Five created the humanoid cylons because they wanted them to keep control over the other cylons so that humanity has a way forward when they near extinction which they felt was imminent anyway. Maybe they felt that humanity would accept the idea of a human-cylon hybrid existence only if they suffered a holocaust. By forcing the cylon to mate with a human in order to procreate, they seal the fate of both races. There really is only one way forward.

9) Kara Thrace's Destiny: Kara Thrace is the harbinger of death because the humans will probably run into hostile humanoid machines on Earth when she leads them there, which could potentially lead to the extinction of humanity. This is what the hybrids think because they were created by the Final Five. But who knows how Earth actually is now?
10) Big question: Who is the last cylon?
I dont think this question matters so much in the big scheme of things unless the last cylon and the other four were working against one another. I'm tending towards Dualla but dont really have any strong arguments for it.
I understand there are many inconsistencies in the above and welcome your suggestions, comments and theories.
